Description
Project Overview
Elite Home Exteriors NW completed a siding replacement at 3221 Aldersgate Dr in Newberg, Oregon, using Kaycan Timberlake Contessa Double 5-inch vinyl siding in Willow Green. The horizontal siding gives the home a fresh look, while the specified weather barrier and flashing form part of the system behind the finished exterior.
Weather Barrier and Flashing
We installed a WeatherSmart Drainable Weather Barrier System behind the new siding. The drainable barrier is designed to help incidental water move downward behind the cladding. The project also included a FortiFlash Membrane System for flashing details. Those concealed materials are an important part of planning a siding replacement in Newberg’s rainy climate.
Willow Green Kaycan Vinyl Siding
For the finished exterior, the homeowner selected Kaycan Timberlake Contessa Double 5-inch vinyl siding in Willow Green. Its paired horizontal courses create a consistent siding profile, while the green color gives the home a natural appearance. The installation also included galvanized vinyl siding nails and OSI QUAD MAX caulking at appropriate sealed details. Kaycan lists Contessa Double 5 as a Timberlake profile.
