Siding Replacement Project – Fisher’s Landing, Vancouver, WA

This exterior siding remodel in Fisher’s Landing, Vancouver, WA focused on replacing aging materials with a high-performance, long-lasting James Hardie siding system. Elite Home Exteriors NW began by removing old warped, cracked, and faded vinyl siding, exposing the exterior walls for proper preparation and inspection.

To improve moisture management and long-term protection, we installed HydroGap® drainable house wrap along with HydroFlash® membrane flashing at all critical window and door openings. This system helps direct water away from the structure while allowing proper drainage behind the siding—an important upgrade for homes in the Pacific Northwest.

The home was then resided with James Hardie Cedarmill 7″ Lap Siding, paired with James Hardie trim at corners, windows, and doors for clean, defined lines. For added curb appeal and architectural detail, we installed James Hardie staggered shake siding on the front gables, creating visual contrast and texture.

To complete the project, all siding and trim were finished using Sherwin-Williams® SuperPaint, providing excellent color retention, moisture resistance, and UV protection for a smooth, durable finish.

The result is a modern, low-maintenance exterior that enhances both the appearance and durability of the home while delivering long-term protection in the Fisher’s Landing climate.
