Working with Ian and his team was a wonderful experience. We met with a handful of companies before picking a contractor. Most spent hours mansplaining how siding works through formal presentations with imagery of worst case scenarios and reasons for why you should only work with their team. Ian listened to us, respected our time, and was very easy to work with. His team did incredible work with the siding and roofing on our house, and they went above and beyond to help us add a new covered entrance to our home. The South wall of the house had rot and cut siding from a previous connected wood deck. Ian was a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional from start to finish. He answered detailed questions, gave me several options to fit within my budget. Ian communicated with me throughout the process, and was accommodating when I requested more detail, or a change during planning phase. His crew shows up on schedule, were friendly and courteous of my property, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. The job was completed quickly and within budget. The new siding and paint is an asset to this house and exceeds my expectations. We hired Elite Home Exteriors to remove vinyl siding and replace it with Hardie lap siding.  We were concerned that water may have leaked behind the vinyl siding and caused unseen damage.  We got several bids and Ian's bid was not the lowest, but it was the most detailed in terms on scope of work and he offered a much better warranty than the other companies.  Ian patiently answered all of my questions either verbally or by email and made me feel comfortable with his competence to do a great job for us.  And he did!  His crew was well-trained and paid attention to detail.  The work was done well and completed in a timely manner.  The workers cleaned up after they finished and did not leave any loose ends. Needed some siding and soffit work on a 1922 aluminum siding dormer. Ian came out, looked at the project, and started the very next week. All of his workers were top notch and friendly.  They even relocated a squirrel family living in our eaves. This job was done quickly and efficiently and the communication was excellent. Ian  came out several times to check on the work and answer any questions we had. Their cleanup was great- just a few stray nails and debris, but that’s to be expected. He actually fixed a couple of areas that weren’t in the scope of the project for no extra charge. The painters he subcontracted with were also wonderful. Choose this company for you siding, you won't be sorry!  The owner Ian, is far and above best contractor I have ever worked with.  Excels at communication, follow up and explains everything in a friendly non-pressure way. I interviewed three other contractors, before settling on Elite. I knew I would be in good hands for this huge investment with Ian as he was genuine and sincere about providing the best result.  Both the siding and the paint crew are top notch professionals, with a great work ethic and attention to detail, they are Hardie trained so you can be sure the installation was done to the highest standard and it shows! Ian Vidovic is the owner/manager of Elite Home Exteriors, and we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have accepted his bid for replacing the hardi-plank siding on an exterior wall of our house in Camas, Washington. Our house is on Prune Hill, and the eastern wall faces the onslaught of the Gorge winds and its rain, snow, and ice storms. Long-term damage in our 22-year old house included dry rot all the way to the studs. Ian's bid was not only reasonable, but his word was bond. His crews came on time, as promised. The demolition was completed in one day. The replacement siding in another day. The wall was pressure-washed and painted by a professional crew. Ian was honest, communicative, and very personable. My home has a fairly complex exterior, and we were looking to re-side the home as we were dealing with constant issues of water intrusion. I was searching the greater Portland/Vancouver area for Siding Contractors for Hardie Siding, as we really just wanted something that would hold up against the elements and protect us in the case of any nearby fires (we’re close to some woods). After meeting Ian from Elite Home Exteriors, we decided to go with him and we couldn’t have been happier that we decided to go with him as out Siding Contractor. We had additional problems from the water damage too, and the folks he recommended were also top notch. Ian and team are a James Hardie Elite Preferred Siding Contractor, which means basically that he’s passed the highest certification for installing James Hardie siding products. My husband and I had a water intrusion issue (undisclosed to us during a house purchase) that we subsequently discovered for ourselves 6 months later in the rainy season. After meeting with many contactors to figure out how to execute the repair, we decided that their prices were outrageous even for just a patch job and we decided to do the right thing and replace all the wood siding with Hardie plank. My husband found Ian online, and we met with him. He is excellent at communication, through emails/text and/or phone calls. He was always pleasant to meet with and didn’t talk to me as if I was a dumb homeowner, which happens quite a bit in this industry. He was happy to answer all my questions and work with us on a documented design for adding architectural details so there was no questions on how the job would look. He and his crew were always punctual and professional. They finished the job ahead of schedule and did everything promised. Honestly, the water intrusion situation was very stressful, but Ian made it a pleasure to get resolved. I am so happy that we went with him and have had excellent results. Glad I hired Ian and his team to replace siding on the south-facing side of my house.  Communication with Ian throughout project was as good as any contractor I've worked with. Update: The team went above and beyond.  I had additional projects I needed help with on the exterior of my home and the team was right there quickly and throughly helped me accomplish them.  Superior service.  -   Elite Home Exteriors was amazing.  Definitely the largest renovation I’ve ever done my to my house and the team took care of me the entire way. We hired Elite Home Exteriors to replace the siding on the back of our house with James Hardie Sierra 8" fiber cement as the old T1-11 siding was showing its age.  The rest of the T1-11 siding on the house looked good so we opted to leave it in place except for one section where a previous owner had cut through the siding to install a dog door.  We had this additional section replaced with matching T1-11 siding.  After the siding was installed/replaced we had Elite Home Exteriors paint the house as well. I felt like we were in good hands throughout the entire process.  Ian was very helpful guiding us through the  process from start to finish and very quick to respond to any questions we had along the way.  The crews that worked on the house were great and answered even more questions I had the days the work was being done. The siding looks great.  The paint job looks great. Ian and Nick did a great job on our bungalow downtown. It was a full siding replacement, roof, and paint job. It was a big job. We got six quotes because we were interested in repairing the original siding under the outer layers. We eventually realized this wasn't feasible because there wasn't any barrier under the original siding - not even paper which does exist on some early 1900s houses. Ian was great at listening to our requirements and just as good at getting his team to implement them. We are very happy with the work they did and would highly recommend them. Simply put, after getting all the quotes it was clear Ian understood what we wanted when he put it in writing. More importantly it was all delivered at the cost that was in the quote. We worked with Elite Home Exteriors NW for both replacing our roof and refreshing our exterior paint.  Ian and all of his crew were incredibly great to work with, staying communicative along the whole process from start to finish and being flexible with their schedules!  Additionally, they took extra measures to ensure the outcome of those projects (i.e. pressuring washing the entire house, cleaning up gutters, and fixing/replacing broken siding).  Both projects went along without a hitch and our home looks brand new (and AMAZING).  Quality products, quality service, but more importantly…quality people who take great pride in the services they provide. This project was a complete Hardi residing of a two story house with complicated roof lines and many windows. The siding work was completed in November and final paint in March '21 (due to our typical Vancouver WA rainy weather moving in for the season!). The final result is excellent! Both teams, siding and paint, were meticulous and focused on the finer details. They were a pleasure to work with. From initial quotes through to regular updates during the project, communication was responsive and thorough. Ian, co-owner and customer facing rep, was a pleasure to work with and his customer focused attention was exceptional. I highly recommend Elite Home Exteriors NW. Ian and his team are fantastic! I am so pleased with the work they finished on the siding repair and paint job on my 1901 craftsman. Ian was so responsive which is rare for most contractors, he was there for me every step of the way and accommodated dates for me so I was able to close on my house and get the siding repaired before escrow ended. He also wanted to make sure we were super happy with the paint job and came back to do and apply any touchups during our walk-through. His team was professional, cared about the work they were doing, and made sure they were doing it the right way. For contractors working on our home, I require excellent service and communication. Ian and Elite Home Exteriors exceeded all expectations. From the initial home visit to provide a bid, through construction, and following up after work was completed, Ian was very responsive and treated us like we were a priority customer. We received a few other bids and, while a couple bids were a little bit lower, none of the other bidders impressed my wife and I like Ian did regarding his attention to detail and overall friendliness. We knew Elite Home Exteriors was going to be a great company to work on our home and that peace of mind was worth it. They finished the job ahead of schedule and with minimum impact on our daily lives. Work completed included completely residing and painting the weather damaged south and east sides of our house and new gutters. We contracted Elite Home Exteriors NW replace siding and trim on our front wall to address a leak. Water had penetrated behind the house belly band and was getting behind the siding. Ian and Nick are very responsive to their e-mail, phone and text communications. The turn around time between initial contact, quote and getting the work done was very short. The owners, and work crew, are very professional and I had a very positive experience interacting with all of them. We had a relatively small section of siding and trim replaced on the front of the house. The old siding was removed and the house sheathing was inspected for signs of decay. An anti-fungal spray was added to prevent any future issues. The window was wrapped with a water proof membrane, new house wrap was installed then followed by the Hardie plank siding, trim and corner boards. The joints were caulked as well. All the work completed in about half a day - very quick! The crew disposed of the material that came off the house and cleaned up the work area as well. We also had Elite color match and paint the new work. Top notch work. Both owners came out to inspect the work and followed up with me to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction. Elite Home Exteriors have been everything we could have asked for and more. From our first interaction with them until they finished the job they were: On-time, professional, customer oriented, detailed (both in quote and finishing work), flexible, had excellent communication, exceeded exceptions on timelines, and we could tell they take pride in there work and reputation.They impressed us so throughly that we have gone out of our way to make sure that reviews are being written and verbal referrals are being spread around to our friends and family. Our home renovation work has had us in contact with many different folks working in many different fields, most of whom have been great to work with. Ian and Nick were the best we interacted with. I recently had to have some emergency repairs done on my 1938 siding.  Ian and team were great at communicating with me all throughout the project, as well as communicating with the other contractors needed for the task.  The standard of care was shown when Ian came back after they were all done, just because he wanted to adjust a something that he felt wasn't correct.
